FHRA Drag Race week is just around the corner, 28th - 30th of June at Alastaro Raceway. The three-day race weekend is a good way to learn some of the Racing tricks. There will also be some FIA & UEM European Championchip DragRace classes doing Test 'n Tune runs because next weekend, is another event, Nitro Nationals at Alastaro too. The car is finally getting there, few weeks ago we pushed it out from the Garage and washed it. It was much easier to work on outside, where is enough room for doors to open etc. Last Thursday we were able to get the car fired up, just to see if everything works. Everything worked just like we hoped, and we are quite Race Ready. Our plan is, however, to go testing the car on an empty Parking Lot before the Race Weekend, to test brakes, steering and that kind of basic stuff. Yesterday, I was also looking at the FHRA Rulebook, and I noticed that the power switch needs to be a model where the key part cannot be uninstalled. Well, of course we had just the incorrect one. Luckily we found one from US Parts, and now when our class markings and Race number stickers have arrived, we are really close of being ready to race. Hope everything works at the races, too. A video of the startup. I will keep you posted.

Test Drive went well yesterday, the car works just like it should. We decided to check the weight of it too, and it seems to be 200 kilos underweight for K/SA. Though we didn't have full tank of gas or driver inside, so with those in the car will be a bit heavier. The rest will be done with ballast weight. Only problem was that in tight turns and when accelerating harder, rear wheel openings hit to tires creating little marks on them. Hopefully the tires will pass tech inspection, though. The problem will be solved when we add some more air pressure in those Airbags that we have inside those rear springs.
This is the last report before real Race Reports, we are starting very soon to Alastaro. Stay Tuned.
